This teleclass is designed to be woven into the fabric of your work life. Without having to leave your office, you will be able to join a teleconference community of other clinical supervisors grappling with the fundamentals of providing effective clinical supervision to counselors and social workers. Through ten one hour weekly teleconferences, you will receive content on theory, research, role definitions, best practices, issues and challenges of providing clinical supervision in the behavioral health field.

In pod groups, you will complete exercises with your peer classmates to assess your own clinical supervision practices, design or improve your clinical supervision contract, and be re-energized to evoke and support the competent clinical work of your supervisees.

This call scheduled on a quarterly basis is an opportunity for clinical supervisors throughout Pathways to collaborate around clinical supervisory concerns and quality assurance.  Company resource persons for clinical supervision, quality assurance, and legal questions will be available to discuss best practice information and current company events of relevance to practicing clinical supervisors.  Clinical Supervisors will have opportunity to talk in small groups about how information may apply to your own local experience of clinical supervision, and make connections with other clinical supervisors and national resource persons.  Come to this call quarterly to be connected to the big family of Clinical Supervisors throughout Pathways agencies!

In the broad and decentralized world of Providence Service Corporation, many of us seek cost effective ways to share our expertise and train others throughout the company but do not have the resources available. The Corporate University of Providence specializes in classes and courses that can be conducted solely by telephone. Teleclasses are a great way to efficiently train and educate leaders and front line staff across the country without additional travel costs. This class is designed to teach people how to design, develop and deliver a teleclass through the Corporate University of Providence. If you have expertise in any area of mental health that will benefit counselors, leaders or other employees in our company, we encourage you to participate in this class.
